We are a small and friendly club, located in the coastal town of North Scotland. Whether you are interested in taking up running, a bit of a novice runner or a long established running veteran, we invite you to join us on any of our club nights. We run on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday nights - details and times can be found on our website.

Supplement Recommendations For Athletes

As an athlete, you always want to be performing at your best. Whether that’s sprinting, hurdling, playing football or just training in the gym, you’re always focused on performance as a priority. A lot of supplements you’ll find on the market are focused on getting as big as a bodybuilder or as powerful as a powerlifter or as shredded as a model, but what if those aren’t your goals? What if you just want to be as healthy as possible while you play a sport you love? What if you just want to be the best version of you that you can be? Not everyone is interested in fitness just for aesthetic reasons.

Whether you’re someone who hits the gym a few days a week or plays endless hours of football then these supplements will help you out. A few select compounds are useful for anyone who just loves to be active.

First off comes protein. Not everyone can hit the recommended 1g of protein per pound of bodyweight each day. It results in a lot of food and isn’t always enjoyable or practical either. Enter: protein powder. This supplement allows for you to top up your protein intake conveniently and easily without having to stuff your face. Protein is absolutely essential for recovery so having a tub of protein around for the days where you can’t quite eat enough in your regular diet can be extremely useful.

Next, fish oil is perfect for protecting the joints from disease and inflammation. Fish oil is a perfect source of omega-3 fatty acids that help prevent heart disease, mental disorders and joint problems which are common. Fish oil contains EPA and DHA which are the fatty acids that help reduce muscle soreness and stave off inflammation.

You may find that Drostanolone or Masteron Drostanolone propionate will be beneficial for you. Lastly, we have beta-alanine. When you exercise your body’s pH level drops from an excess of hydrogen ions which is what causes fatigue. Consuming beta-alanine increases the carnosine content within your muscles which buffers the production of hydrogen ions and therefore keeps fatigue away. At some point, you will fatigue but that point will be a lot longer away than originally. If you’re the type of athlete who has to constantly work for an elongated time then this supplement will dramatically improve your endurance.
